For the three of us our $1500 refund will go towards our debt from last year's needed work on our home exterior.
Yeah, it would be nice to feel free to spend the money on some electronic toy, but for many people that money would be better spent on things like food or debt. We'll probably put some or all of it toward our emergency fund.
